BIG NEWS - September 29, 2010
As part of West Covina Day at the LA County Fair, we will be performing on the community stage (Building 4). There is a parade, in which I will be riding in a vehicle practicing my "Parade Wave" - after that there is a Community Hero presentation - then we play! Our "set up" time is 5:30 - we play at 6pm! Repertoire to be announced soon.
Rehearsals:
Rehearsals usually take place on Tuesday Evenings from 7:30 - 10pm at the West Covina Senior Citizen Center 2501 E Cortez St, West Covina, CA 91791
The 4th Tuesday of each month we use an alternate site. Usually the West Covina United Methodist Church. 718 S. Azusa Ave, West Covina, CA 91791
The Tuesday immediately prior to each concert we rehearse at Citrus College, in the Haugh Performing Arts Center Auditorium.

Haugh Performing Arts Center Citrus College

The Haugh Performing Arts Center (HPAC) is a 1440-seat proscenium venue located on the 100-acre campus of Citrus College. Situated in the heart of the beautiful San Gabriel Valley, HPAC is host to over 140 performances annually, with over 100,000 patrons in attendance. Spacious continental seating affords patrons excellent sight lines and ample leg room, with no seat more than 90 feet from the stage.
Recent years have seen major upgrades to the Center, including a new box office, new lobby furnishings, additional restrooms, restored seating, and numerous accommodations for patrons with disabilities

Rehearsals for our upcoming Concert are in progress now, so hurry in! If you wish to audition at a rehearsal, plan to be early or stay a bit after rehearsal.
We especially need good volunteer string players (students welcome) come join us!
